Broad Function: As a Technical Solution Architect for FCI-CCM, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop and implement technical solutions that meet the needs of the company's clients. Your job will involve working closely with clients, sales teams, and software developers to understand the client's requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: The Technical Solutions Architect designs technical solutions that meet the business requirements of the organization. They work closely with stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into technical requirements. They create technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide the development and implementation of the solution.
  • Technical Leadership: The Technical Solutions Architect provides technical leadership to development teams, ensuring that the solution is designed and implemented in accordance with industry best practices. They collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure that the solution is scalable and efficient.
  • Project Management: The Technical Solutions Architect manages the project from start to finish, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide progress reports to ensure that everyone is aligned with the project objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: The Technical Solutions Architect works closely with customers to understand their needs and provide them with technical solutions that meet those needs. They build relationships with customers, providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technology Research: The Technical Solutions Architect keeps up to date with the latest trends and technologies in their field. They research new technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing solutions.

Key skills required for the role include:

  • Technical Expertise: A Technical Solutions Architect must have a deep understanding of various technologies and be able to design and implement solutions using them. They should be proficient in programming languages, databases, operating systems, networking, and security.

Desired experience:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in a technical role such as software development, systems engineering, or network administration.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or architecture role.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing complex technical solutions.
  • Experience with programming languages, databases, operating systems, networking, and security.
  • Understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan and organize work, manage resources, and communicate progress and results.
  • Experience leading technical teams and providing technical guidance to others.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
